PRE-CONSTRUCTION FUNDING STREAM NOW AVAILABLE!
In 2018, the Codorus Watershed Endowment Committee of the York County Community Foundation will award up to $100,000 in stormwater pre-construction costs, such as design, permitting & engineering. Applicants may apply up to $15,000 for their projects. This is a continuation of a successful year in 2017 where the Committee awarded $45,000 to York County municipalities for vital stormwater projects that will reduce pollutants in the Codorus Watershed.
The application in which to apply for funds is now available on York County Community Foundation’s website at here. I invite you to browse the website, create an account on our online grantmaking system and consider applying. If you have any questions, contact Elyse Pollick Byrnes at email@example.com or 717-848-3733. The committee meets quarterly to review grant requests, so the deadline is rolling.
York County Community Foundation’s Codorus Watershed Endowment Fund was established in 2001. An eight-person Advisory Committee is charged with developing strategic direction and action plans to build on the work of existing watershed improvement programs and leverage new public and private investment to improve the health and vitality of the Codorus and its environs.
Thank you for helping to make the Codorus Watershed a great York County asset!
