Why establish a fund at York County Community Foundation?
The Community Foundation is a convenient, flexible, tax-advantaged partner for your charitable giving-and a way to provide for responsible stewardship of your charitable legacy. We value:

• Permanent Legacy Your gift to the community through the Community Foundation is given in perpetuity. Your name or the name of a loved one can live on through the fund.
• Stewardship The Community Foundation's Board of Directors, with guidance from its Investment Committee and outside investment counsel, monitors the performance of professional investment managers. A full accounting through our annual report includes financial statements monitored by the Finance Committee and certified by independent auditors.
