Donor Advised Funds allow you to contribute assets to a fund at any time and then recommend grants to support charitable organizations of your choice. They are a flexible, personalized way to support nonprofit groups in York County, elsewhere in the U.S., or anywhere in the world. READ MORE INFORMATION

Field of Interest Funds are a way to provide support to organizations or communities that work on issues that you specify. Once you determine the issue(s) you want to support, such as the environment, health care, etc., YCCF's program staff will work with you to identify grant recipients. You may also wish to focus your grantmaking in one geographic area(York City /Hanover for example) You can either choose an issue of importance to you, or you may recommend grants to specific groups working on the issue(s) you've chosen. Designated Funds are ideal for donors who want to support one or more specific organizations. READ MORE INFORMATION

Scholarship Funds are designed for donors who are interested in helping students attend high school, college, university, or vocational school-using criteria of your choice. READ MORE INFORMATION

Unrestricted Funds are an option for donors who want to support the Foundation's interest areas identified by YCCF's board of trustees for its discretionary grants. This gives the Community Foundation the greatest latitude over the years in how to direct grants, based on its assessment of changing community needs. Heritage Funds (organizational endowment funds) are an option for nonprofit organizations to create permanent endowment funds at the Community Foundation. We handle all administrative and investment responsibilities, freeing the organization to pursue its charitable mission. READ MORE INFORMATION

Acorn Funds allow individuals and families to invest in the future of our community and build a charitable legacy. Plant your seed in our community and watch it grow! Acorn Funds provide an opportunity to grow a fund at the Community Foundation with a $1,000 initial investment. Grant recommendations begin once the fund reaches $10,000. READ MORE INFORMATION
