OPPORTUNITIES SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Serving Kindergarten through 12th grade
In an effort to serve a broader spectrum of the community the York County Community Foundation expanded its scholarship program to include York County students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Through the Opportunities Scholarship Program the Community Foundation serves as the scholarship organization for three local schools that educate York County Students:

• Logos Academy (www.logosyork.org)
• Susquehanna Waldorf School (www.susquehanna.org)
• York Country Day School (www.ycds.org)

The Community Foundation accepts contributions from businesses that qualify for business tax credits as defined by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (PADCED) through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC). The partner schools submit recommendations for student scholarships from these contributions, based on the student's financial need as defined by PADCED.
