Welcome. And thank you for your interest in our community. If you want to make York County better, we want to work with you.

Ever since our beginning in 1961, generous Yorkers have contributed to the Community Foundation's grantmaking programs by creating funds that benefit their favorite charities, funds that benefit specific focus areas, or funds that benefit York County overall.

Our Program Staff at the Community Foundation identifies both the best of York County that needs preserving, and the challenges we must meet to make York County better. The Community Foundation engages community leaders from different areas of interest across York County to assist in selecting the best programs and projects to support.

We encourage you to review our Grant Programs, which are highlighted in several focus areas: Nonprofit Community Investment, Agriculture & Land Preservation, York City Beautification, the Codorus Watershed, Community Health, and Energy Conservation.
