Donor Directed Institution/Field of Study Scholarships

Some donors have established funds through the Community Foundation that are related to a specific field of study or to benefit a specific institution for scholarship or educational support. If a student would like to be considered for these scholarships, they should contact the person listed below. The Community Foundation serves as the partner in the selection and distribution of these scholarships.

• Tom Adams, Jo Hunger, George Lamotte Dental Scholarships: designated for dental school and dental hygienist students from York County at Pitt, Penn, Maryland, Temple, or HACC. • Robert R. Anderson Family Scholarship: designated for undergraduate students pursuing studies related to agriculture with a home address of record in York County, Pennsylvania. • Nadine M. Bongart Memorial Scholarship: designated for cheerleading scholarships to graduating seniors at Columbia High School. Contact Columbia High School

• Hazel P. Currier Scholarship: designated for nursing students at York College of PA. Contact York College Financial Aid Office
  
  
• Flinchbaugh Engineering Education Scholarship: designated for children of FEI fulltime employees. Contact Abby Wamsley
  
  
• Bill Goodling Teacher Scholarship: designated for students in York, Adams and Cumberland counties who are preparing for a teaching career. Contact Dr. Sowers at 717-755-4392
  
  
• Margaret "Peggy" Knoch Memorial Scholarship: designated for nursing students at York College of PA. Contact York College Financial Aid Office
  
  
• Christa McAuliffe Scholarship: designated for graduating seniors from York County who are pursuing a career in education. Contact Wendy Hewitt
  
  
• Shipley Scholarship: designated for children or grandchildren of Shipley employees or retirees. Contact Rachel Henry
